my first homegrown recipe


rosemary poppy seed crackers
one cup wholewheat flour
one cup cornmeal
half teaspoon baking powder
half teaspoon salt
handful chopped rosemary
handful poppy seeds
half cup water
third of a cup olive oil
preheat oven to 230C
sift flour, salt, baking powder, rosemary and seeds. slowly mix in water and oil. form a soft dough and knead for five minutes or so. roll out very thinly onto parchment paper, then cut into strips with pizza cutter. slide paper onto baking sheet, and bake for 8-12 minutes. do not burn, because then they won't taste very nice.
eat with smoked cheese and sliced apple, i did.
